Staying COVID safe in face-to-face Alexander Technique lesosns

Jeremy Woolhouse

After the extended lockdown in Melbourne, we are glad to return to face-to-face teaching. In-person sessions are available from 1st November 2020 and online sessions will remain optional until the end of the year. Please cooperate with the studio’s COVIDsafe policies.

Staying COVIDsafe

Students are requested to please:

  • adhere to the current government advice for your municipality,

  • wear a face mask for the duration of your visit,

  • avoid touching your mask or face while present,

  • use the provided hand sanitiser when arriving and leaving,

  • use social distancing whenever possible at the studio including during your session,

  • wait until your appointment time before arriving,

  • note that your session may end early to minimise passing others,

  • if you are feeling unwell, have been travelling or been in contact with a COVID infected person, please do not attend the studio. Cancellations due to illness will not attract a cancellation fee,

  • have the COVIDsafe app running when you attend.

Your teacher has completed COVID safety training and is taking these additional precautions:

  • sanitising surfaces between students,

  • frequent and regular hand sanitising, during and between sessions,

  • avoiding booking back-to-back sessions,

  • ending sessions early to avoid passing others if back-to-back bookings cannot be avoided.

If you are immune-compromised, at-risk or feel at all uncomfortable with attending, online sessions will be optional until the end of the year.

Please contact the studio with any concerns or questions.
