Concession rates may be offered to:

- second or additional booking in the same week, a second or additional family member,
- full time students, health care card holders,
- members of professional music associations or Alexander Technique associations,
- members of a secondary or tertiary music faculty teaching staff,
- those with special needs or exceptional circumstances.

Tertiary Music Student Scholarship:

Offered to students enrolled in full time study of a music degree.

On-Site Private Group Workshop / In-Service

Intro class: 90 min workshop: $295
Half Day: 3 hour workshop: $495
Half day intensive: 4 hour workshop: $675
Full day: 6.5 hour workshop: $995
Full day intensive: 8 hour workshop: $1400

Private Health Insurance Rebates:

For many years Alexander Technique sessions were rebated by private health funds. However, Federal Government legislation introduced on 1st April 2019 disallowes private health funds from rebating Alexander Technique sessions. Due to the controversy around the decision, it is currently under review. Read more about the change.

Payment Policy:

Invoices from Poise Alexander Technique do not attract GST.

Payment may be made by cash, cheque or electrically by bank transfer (EFT).

Credit cards and PayPal are accepted, however the bank’s processing fee will be added to an invoice as an additional amount.
A transaction fee of 1.75% + 30c will be added to the total payable for Australian credit cards and AMEX. For international cards, this fee is 2.9% + 30c. Please specify if you are paying by foreign card. PayPal charges are 2.6% + 30c.

Payments are to be made by the due date on the invoice. If you have not received an invoice in advance, payment is due at the conclusion of each session. To be eligible for bulk session discounts, payment for the entire series of sessions must be made up front, on the day of the first session of the series. Otherwise, casual fees apply.

Attendance Policy:

If you are unable to attend an invoiced date, please let the studio know before making payment. If a lesson is missed, or cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, the full fee is forfeit. In exceptional circumstances, a late change of lesson time may be considered at the teacher's discretion. Please do not attend the studio if you are contagious.
